FEBRUARY AT DISNEY WORLD February 12-17, 2012

We're spending the week of Lyd's 63rd birthday at Bay Lake Tower at Walt Disney World.

Buddy goes to the "doggie hotel" Saturday afternoon. Our flight out of Salisbury (SBY), to Philadelphia (PHL), leaves at 0715, arriving in PHL at 0801. We'll have breakfast in the food court before heading for our connecting flight. The flight from PHL to Orlando International Airport (MCO) leaves at 0955 and arrives at 1238. We'll be met by Mears Transportation who will take us to Bay Lake Tower. Since check-in time is at 3, we'll probably go over to the Magic Kingdom, secure our annual passes, and have some lunch. After unpacking, we'll rest and then go up to the California Grill for dinner, with pictures of Bertina for Yoshie.

We left on time and got to PHL on time where it’s 19 degrees. A nice USAir lady took us over to gate A15 and then to Maki of Japan where we each had a croissant breakfast sandwich (4.99). Our flight departed A15 at 0955, on schedule, headed for the car wash (de-icing). At 1032, we departed on runaway 27 to a cruising altitude of 36K, arriving in MCO at 1233. There, we were met by Chris Peters from Mears transportation, as requested. He dropped us at the Contemporary. We were promptly checked in to room 7840, a south facing room on the 8th floor – excellent. We walked over to the Magic Kingdom and traded our vouchers for Annual Passes. We returned to the Contemporary and purchased some booze for the room. Then it was time to deliver Bertina's letter to Yoshie. We returned to the California Grill at 6 for dinner, leaving just as the fireworks were starting, returning to the room for the night.
