At 0716, it’s 39 at the Kissimmee Airport.
The bus was full by the time we also stopped at Disney’s Polynesian Hotel to pick up guests also bound for
AK.
Our first stop was Kilimanjaro Safaris.
We walked right in with no wait at all.
Brooke was our guide/driver, and she was excellent.
Many of the drivers have the script memorized and it sounds like it.
Brooke, on the other hand, was spontaneous and didn’t sound “canned.”
I plan on reporting her prowess to Disney.
We left the safari at 1010 and headed for Camp Minnie-Mickey for the 1030 show of the Festival of the Lion King.
The show was great and I got a few pictures and a video of the finale.
As we approached 1130, we headed for our luncheon reservation at Yak and Yeti.
Following lunch, we had every intention of going back to the room, but stopped first at It’s Tough To Be a Bug. A family to our right had a child who wasn’t going to make it and the father had the good sense to exit the child before the show started. From there we headed back to the bus lot for a trip back to BLT. Including the driver, there were six of us on the bus. For the second time, we encountered the bus “music” we have come to call Clarinet Practice.
We were back on the monorail at 1730 headed for the Grand Floridian Hotel and Narcoossee’s.
