Salisbury airport security was effortless and our flight left at 0707 on Runway 23, 8 minutes early for Philadelphia, less than half full.
At Philly, at 0745, 15 minutes early, there was a light rain.
I made several attempts at resolving our return flight seat assignment problem, but without success.
It seems that when I booked the flights back in October, the MCO to PHL aircraft, was an airbus with 16 first class seats.
Sometime during the intervening months, it was switched to a B737 with only 12 first class seats.
During the reseating, Lyd has no seat.
Anyway, we had a 15 minute maintenance delay and our Orlando flight, about 8th in line, finally departed at 1040 on 27L, 40 minutes late.
Even so, we arrived in Orlando at 1231, 9 minutes early.
Jose Lopez, of Mears Transportation was waiting for us and delivered us to the Contemporary Hotel.
Room 8025 is on the 10th floor at the “vertex” of Bay Lake Tower, facing east.
I had trouble connecting to the BLT internet and finally called for help.
Well, the entire building is now wireless and the hard-wire connections no longer function, so I won’t bring the router anymore.
Dinner was at the California Grill.
We were back in the room and preparing for bed during the fireworks and had the window open and were in bed during the electric boat parade.
