Tom officiated at the 27th Commissioner's Academic Challenge at the Contemporary Hotel at Walt Disney World. We stayed at Bay Lake Tower.

We left the room at 0800 headed for the bus zone, where bus 4981 bound for Hollywood Studios was already waiting. We arrived before the park opened, so did a little shopping, securing stuff for Nico and Leo, sent back to the room. At 0900, we headed promptly for Star Tours and rode it twice. From there it was on to The Great Movie Ride. Then it was on to The Little Mermaid. From there, we went into the Art of Animation. We took the backlot tour which was very entertaining. We arrived at the Brown Derby for lunch at 1200, where Danielle was our server. We took the bus back to BLT, with a stop at Bayview Gifts, for afternoon naps. Dinner was at Le Cellier. We were back in the room in time for the Electrical Boat Parade.
