We took a cruise on the Chesapeake Bay on American Cruise Lines for our 38th anniversary.

We left the house at 0800, heading for Weeping Willow. We dropped off Buddy and were on the road by 0815. After stopping at McDonald's to pIck up breakfast sandwiches, we returned to the bypass and headed for Baltimore. The GPS took us off track twice without explanation, but we made it to the pier about 1045. After parking the car, we boarded and found stateroom 301. For lunch, we both had the seafood bisque and the seafood salad, both of which were excellent. We sailed at 1330. We relaxed in the room and then went down for cocktails in the Nantucket Room, at the forward end of the 2nd deck. Dinner was black bean soup for Lyd, followed by Atlantic salmon and a Caesar salad for me followed by prime rib. We returned to the room about 2000 and Lyd went straight to bed; destination: Yorktown, VA.
