We took a cruise on the Chesapeake Bay on American Cruise Lines for our 38^th anniversary.

While we slept, the Captain quietly slipped us out of St. Michael Harbor. At 0830, we were anchored in Annapolis Harbor, near the Naval Academy. I paid our excursion bill and also paid our gratuity. We took the 1000 launch from the ship into Annapolis and walked the few blocks to the Naval Academy. We took a guided walking tour of the facility and learned that the new Plebe class will be inducted at 1600 today in front of Bancroft Hall. We returned to the dock to find the mate waiting with the launch and we returned to the ship in time for lunch. We both had the crab & asparagus soup followed by the Panko Encrusted Cod Sandwich with tartar sauce, crisp potato slices, orzo pasta salad with lemon and fresh dill. We skipped dessert. We took afternoon naps and awoke to find we had left Annapolis an hour early and were headed for Baltimore. Enroute, we passed an outbound Enchanted Seas, Nassau, with a Coast Guard escort. The final dinner was Shrimp cocktail followed by Stuffed Lobster Tail with herb roasted red bliss potatoes and Julienne of Red Pepper, Leek and Carrot. We docked in Baltimore during dinner.
