Now that we have two grandsons, we've decided to open access from the 2nd floor landing to the loft, so that the loft can be used as a guestroom or a room for one or both of the boys.
There is already a full bath and cedar closets in the loft.
We're closing the stairs from our bedroom to the loft and opening new stairs through my old closet, with a 180o left turn through the front bedroom into the loft.
A pocket door at the base of the new steps will give us some privacy in the master bedroom.
The old loft stairs will be closed off to create a larger closet.
We're also closing in the open ceiling in the master bedroom and providing a ceiling chandelier.
We're recarpeting the loft.

Greg came by at 1300. We discussed the project and I'm confident that he "sees" what I want. He took measurements and is going to come back with drawings and an estimate.
Messick is very busy right now, so they won't necessarily be ready to do the work while we are at WDW in April.
