Skipping the 4th of July for a visit, we went, instead, the following weekend.
We hit Weeping Willow Kennels at 0900, and by 0910, we were on the road.
As usual, Lyd drove us to Herrington where we stopped at McDonalds for a breakfast sandwich.
I drove the rest of the trip through Delaware and Pennsylvania, arriving in Wyomissing at 1245.
We played with the boys all afternoon, as Nico was allowed to skip his nap.
Leo is more interested in playing with me that Nico has been.
When Sal got home, he grilled a pork loin and veggies.
Discomfort from the biopsy sent me to bed early.
Saturday, we played with the family all day.
We had a nice all-American dinner of hamburgers and hot dogs.
Sunday, we were up at 0600 and left Wyomissing by 0630, without waking anyone!
We picked up Buddy at 1000 and made it home without incident.
We're going again in August.
