Julia Laws came to visit her grandfather and stayed with us.
She arrived, on time, on Saturday, 8 December by Bay Runner Shuttle from Baltimore.
We visited the old Laws house and I then drove her by Mallard Landing to scope out the route.
We then learned that her only ID, her driver’s license, was still in Baltimore.
We returned to Bay Runner and Julia made arrangements for her Baltimore friends to deliver her ID to BWI.
Bay Runner agreed to transport the ID to Salisbury.
We had a great afternoon visit and Margaret joined us for Egg Foo Yung, which turned out very nicely.
In the evening, we watched Invictus and just talked about her many adventures since we last saw her and her plans for the futre in Australia.
Sunday morning, with low ceilings and dense fog, she took Lyd's Volvo and spent the day at Mallard Landing with her grandfather and Elaine.
Julia returned "home" a little after 4 and we went over to Chipotle's for take-out.
We spent the evening with the 1994 "Miracle on 34th Street."
Monday morning is a bit warmer, though still overcast.
Air Traffic congestion in PHL forced a delay to Julia's SBY departure, destroying her connection to DFW, so that had to be rebooked.
Linda reports it is snowing in Dallas.
