We're sailing to and from New Orleans, aboard the "Queen of the Mississippi" on our 2nd cruise with American Cruise Lines.
At 0700, it’s 39 on the Mississippi River, sailing downriver towards St. Francisville, LA. We had early riser coffee and tea and then went down to breakfast. I dropped off the lady’s shirt from the bingo night since I won’t be able to use it. Lyd had her customary prunes and cottage cheese and I repeated my scrambled eggs, bacon and corned beef hash. During breakfast, they replaced the lady’s shirt with a blue ACL monogrammed polo shirt in my size. At 9, Toots did a talk on St. Francisville which we did not attend. At 10, Eagle Society members were recognized. We received a book about New Orleans and Laura asked me to speak to the group about our experiences.
