At 0714, it’s 68 at Walt Disney World, and we slept with the glass door open. We both left the room at 0830, me for the competition and Lyd for Senses, The Grand Floridian Spa, where she enjoyed The Purest Facial on Earth, which she followed with clothes shopping before returning to Bay Lake Tower and the pool. She put on a bathing suit for the first time in ten years and nobody sniggered or screamed. At the competition, we completed what used to be called the Dreaded Day and is now called Read, Review and Reprint, though most of us still call it the Dreaded Day. There are a lot of new, young, fresh faces. We read through and debated the 65 button question and 3 team questions in each of the 8 rounds in which competition will be held for the rest of the week, finishing around 1700. Lyd and I left the room about 1830 for the monorail over to the Grand Floridian and our dinner reservation at Citricos. The boat parade went off a little after 10, as usual.
