At 0700, it’s 69, and we continue to keep the glass door open wide while in the room. I went down for an 0830 Coordinating Judge’s Meeting with Ken. We then had a judge’s meeting which was followed by an orientation for the teams. Lunch was a nice BBQ, with a very tasty brisket. In the meantime, Lyd went over to EPCOT and had a glass of Riesling and an artisanal Cheese tray at the Rose and Crown and then a little shopping. With lunch finished at the competition, the rounds began. In Round 1, Division 1, I was unassigned and visited with the coach from Duval. They have not been here for a few years. I learned he was from Mandarin High School and he’d also brought his wife, Heather Harper, one of Kate’s classmates from middle school and high school. I operated the electronic scoring system in Round 2, Division 3. For Round 3, Division 2, I was, again, unassigned, so I returned to our room in Bay Lake Tower. Dinner was at Jiko, in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
