Tom is participating in Adventures by Disney's "Cities of Knights and Lights."
Planned Itinerary: Day 5
Eurostar Train Ride from London to Paris
Country-hop on a speedy modern train that shoots under the English Channel through the Chunnel! A mere three hours later, your family will emerge in the magnificent City of Light. Bienvenue!
Lunch On Your Own
When you arrive at St. Pancras station, pick up lunch at one of the cafés before boarding the train to one of the world's most famous architectural icons!
The Eiffel Tower
Ride a motor coach to one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world—the Eiffel Tower! Once there, you'll tour the 1,063 foot–tall structure. The observation platform on the top of the tower features one of the most magnificent views in Paris—or anywhere in the world.
Welcome Dinner in Paris
There's a reason that the French are so famous for their delectable cuisine! Tonight, gather together with your fellow Adventurers for a gourmet meal.
Arc de Triomphe Climb If you wish, join your Adventure Guides for an elevator ride and 46 steps up to the top of the famous Arc de Triomphe. Take out your camera to capture some of the most stunning, panoramic views of Paris!
Accommodations: The Hotel Du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe Paris
Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner
I put my bags out at 0735 and they were being loaded onto golf carts for transport to the train. We departed, precisely, at 1225, as scheduled. We pulled in to Paris at 1545 with a +1 time change. We had 1630 reservations at the Eiffel Tower. At 2000, we had a nice buffet dinner.
