I put my bags out at 0735 and they were being loaded onto golf carts for transport to the train. Breakfast was the excellent buffet as the day before. At 0900, we boarded the bus headed for the train station. We entered London from the Southbank, fighting the traffic to St. Pancras station. After leaving the bus we all walked over to King's Cross Station and a photo op for Platform 9 3/4, of Harry Potter fame. I passed through the security checkpoint with little effort even though the hips did set off the metal detector. Passport control was just as easy. After entering the "French" portion of the terminal, I exchanged £204 for €204, with a small service charge. At 1200, the platform was announced and folks with luggage rushed the train to find storage spaces. Our luggage was already stowed. By 1210, I'm aboard train #9024, in Coach 8, Seat 41, a window seat on the left side of the train. We departed, precisely, at 1225, as scheduled. We stopped at Ebbsfleet at 1240. It was raining when we left the station. At 1306, we entered a tunnel and emerged at 1328, apparently in France. We pulled in to Paris at 1545 with a +1 time change.
