Little Dorothy Gale of Kansas, like so many girls her age, dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel the universe of Dorothy's imagination. Favorite songs include Over The Rainbow, Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead), If I Only Had A Brain, If I Only Had A Heart, If I Only Had The Nerve , We're Off To See The Wizard (Follow The Yellow Brick Road). Join us in Oz!
Tom (previously appeared in Oliver) is cast in his 5th role with Players as an "Ozian."

Sun, Jun 23 The house for the 3rd and final performance of The Wizard of Oz was the biggest. I worked for a short time on the striking of props.
Sat, Jun 22 The house for the 2nd performance of Oz was bigger then the 1st.
Fri, Jun 21 Opening night of Oz had over 700 in the house.
Thu, Jun 20 Players’ Night at Oz was attended by about 125 and went well.
Wed, Jun 19 We ran the full show, sans costumes.
Tue, Jun 18 A Full Run-Thru is scheduled from 6:30 until ? w/ Flying, make-up, wigs and costumes.
Mon, Jun 17 Oz rehearsal lasted until almost 2300.
Sun, Jun 16 Oz rehearsed with the orchestra from 2 to 5 and then resumed from 7 to 10 with the dances.
Thu, Jun 13 Heavy rains went through at 1630 but we still practiced Act 1 for Oz.
Wed, Jun 12 The Oz rehearsal did Act 2.
Tue, Jun 11 I went to the Oz dance rehearsal to sell tickets.
Mon, Jun 10 Oz rehearsed Act 1 including the flying of the witches.
Thu, Jun 6 With Ozians only in 1.5 pages, they are excused from the last rehearsal at the Daily Times for Act 2, Scenes 7-13.
Wed, Jun 5 Act 2, Scenes 1-6. I'm finished with the script and returned it to Ken.
Tue, Jun 4 Act 1, Scenes 6-13. Ken gave me my copy of the script.
Sun, Jun 2 I attended the rehearsal of the Munchkins to sell show tickets.
Thu, May 30 Back from Europe, I returned to a rehearsal of Act 1 and volunteered to sell show tickets to cast members.
Wed, May 15 Ken has made cast changes. I am out as a "polisher" but in as "Oz Man #1", a speaking part of one line two lines!
Mon, May 6 We blocked the last scene in Act 1, and practiced Poppies and Jitterbug.
Mon, Apr 8 We went through The Merry Old Land of Oz.
Tue, Apr 2 I am cast as an Ozian, a member of the chorus. I told Ken I’ll start a website to aide in the rehearsal schedule.
Sat, Feb 23 While attending the matinee of On Golden Pond, I chatted with Ken about the OZ auditions. The Wizard is not a musical role.
Thu, Feb 21 Ken has announced auditions on Mar 3, 4, & 5. Whereas we'll be on the Mississippi that week, an email was sent to Ken requesting alternatives.
