Thursday:
Though they had planned on leaving at 2000, they actually got on the road at 1915 and pulled in to our driveway at 2230. After a snack of Spring Rolls, we all went to bed.
Friday:
Dominic came down at 0700 and the rest of the family followed.
The boys had waffles for breakfast and then they all went to the zoo and the nearby playground.
When they returned, we had Zuppa and sandwiches for lunch.
Shortly thereafter, Shore Appliance Connection delivered the dungeon refrigerator and the boys played with the box in which it came.
Margaret joined us at 1630 and we had a Thanksgiving dinner with Sal, Kate and the boys of Roast Chicken, Dressing, Corn Pudding, Pearl Onions, Red Cabbage, Turnip Greens and Pumpkin Cheese Cake for dessert.
We watched Peter Pan and when it was time for the boys to go up to bed, we turned the Holiday House in the kitchen from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
Saturday:
The boys had waffles for breakfast, again, and really enjoyed them.
We took posed pictures of SKDL so they would have something they could use for their Christmas cards.
We then went to Fratelli’s for lunch.
In the afternoon, while Leo and I napped, Lyd and Kate went to Vernon Powell’s and Hobby Lobby to support the economy.
Margaret joined us for a dinner of Kung Pao Pork and rice and a dessert of Chocolate Mousse Pie.
SKDL left about 1900, arriving home at 2310.
