| Sal, Kate and the boys are
here for the weekend and we have tickets for the circus on Saturday. |
Friday: The kids, having left early, pulled in at 2200, rather than close to midnight.
Saturday: Lyd went over to Margaret’s for her normal R&R and the boys played a while in the loft.
We left the house at 1015, headed for the Civic Center and the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus.
We bought souvenirs for the boys of white swords in scabbards.
The kids had front row seats, right next to the ring.
Unfortunately, this proved to be too much for Leo and he and Sal had to go upstairs, farther from the action.
We had a wonderful time with the acrobats, clowns and animals, including three elephants.
We came home to deli-sandwiches.
Lyd and Kate went shopping.
Margaret joined us in the evening for Shrimp Jambalaya.
Sunday:we’re in Daylight Savings Time. SKDL slept in. Lyd served
Beef Bourguignon for lunch and the kids left shortly thereafter for Wyomissing.
