Maureen was our server and Area Manager Greg also visited with us. We started with drinks: Dewars and Soda (7.50) for Lyd and a Maker’s Mark Manhattan (9.50) for me. We selected a bottle of Fess Parker Riesling (39) with dinner. We each had a bowl of Maine Lobster Bisque (13) with butter-poached lobster, coral, sherry cream and chervil. We ordered Prince Edward Island Mussels (18) of tomato-white wine-saffron broth with chorizo, shaved fennel, red onion and toasted baguette, intending to split it. When Maureen brought the order, she had already divided it into two bowls. Finally, Lyd selected a Two-Pound Steamed Main Lobster (69) with fallen corn soufflé with malted popcorn sauce and buttered broccolini. I selected Coriander and Shichimi-spiced seared Ahi Tuna (43) with charred long beans, kai-lan, green papaya and sesame sticky rice with fragrant ginger-kaffir Lime-soy broth. We used a couple of our accumulated gift cards to help with the check and took some of both entrees back to the room. | |||||||||||||||||||||
