At 0656, it’s 60 at Disney World and the rain is gone. Lyd did some shopping and had a facial at Senses in the Grand Floridian and then shopped a little more before picking up the merchandise we had purchased Monday in Hollywood Studios. She spent some time by the pool and had Monday’s leftover filet for lunch before taking a nap. Wednesday started my work for the week. I reported to Pastoral 3 in the convention center for Read, Review and Reprint. This is a long meeting where the staff discusses every question to be asked during the 8 rounds of competition. We discussed alternate answers, pronunciation of the names of people dead for hundreds of years and checked calculations of all the math and science questions. Bad traffic in Central Florida delayed the arrival of some of the tournament staff, but we read all 8 matches. Disney supplied a light nosh, so I skipped lunch and returned to the room about 1730 for a drink. We left at 1830, stopping by the concierge at the Polynesian, headed for Narcoossee's. Later, the fireworks sounded great as did the boat parade.
