We returned to Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort Convention Center for the 29th Commissioner's Academic Challenge, Tom's 17th.

At 0612, it’s 60. Lyd started her day securing postcards for the boys. She took the pair of monorails to EPCOT where she enjoyed Spaceship Earth, The Land and Imagination. After taking in the butterflies, her quest for a bell took her through Mexico, Germany, Norway, and various kiosks before ending in Morocco. From there, it was leftovers in the room for lunch, and a nap. My day, the first full day of competiton, started with the judge’s meeting and then orientation for the teams. A BBQ lunch preceded Round 1 (Division 3) where I kept electronic score in PQ. Next, I read Round 2 (Division 2) in KL. During Round 3 (Division 1), I assisted with Team Florida calculations in the office. I was back in the room at 1800 and we left, promptly, to walk over to the Magic Kingdom for dinner. The crowds were heavy as we walked, slowly, back to Be Our Guest. The walk home was difficult as the Main Street area was being roped off for the impending parade and the crowds were thick.
