At 0641, it’s 71. We packed for the trip home. Chris Peters, of Mears Transportation, picked us up at 1000 at Bay Lake Tower and took us back to US Air at the Orlando Airport. Checkin was easy, and our new TSA Precheck was well worth the time and money to secure that status. With hundreds of people in the TSA lines, there were fewer than 10 in the PreCheck line. We didn’t have to take anything out of our bags or remove coats, shoes or belts. Only my metal hips slowed us down by about 30 seconds. We stopped by Wendy’s in the B Terminal and secured lunch. US Air had replaced our intended aircraft with a bigger B767, so we had minor seating changes. We pushed back from the gate at 1155 and were #2 for departure on Runway 17R. Only two hours later, we landed on 27R at Philadelphia. We picked up the shuttle bus to the F Terminal and then found seats in the area where 6 gates come together and all the airline people jabber in unintelligible accents: The Cattle Yard. We landed in Salisbury, secured the luggage, the car and dog and went home.
