At 0545, it’s 60 in Seattle.
Robbie Messick (0830 his time) called wanting to start the work in the yard on Monday.
We went down to breakfast in the Hook and Plow.
Lyd had Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict (18) and I had a smoked Salmon Omelet (16).
We packed, checked out of the Marriott Waterfront and took a cab (40) to the Seattle airport.
With TSA Pre-check, clearance through security went quickly.
In the common waiting area, every group of 4 seats has a double electric outlet under the seats; a good idea.
We departed on Alaska Air Flight 59 at 1300 and arrived in Juneau at 1400, Alaska Time, which is 4 hours earlier than the east coast.
It’s raining and 55.
There are three cruise ships tied up: Disney Wonder, Pacific Princess, Holland America’s Volendam.
At 1800, we went down to the hotel dining room for dinner.
We had a bottle of Westbrook Riesling (22).
Lyd had potato leek soup and I had a tossed salad.
She had Grilled Salmon (25) and I had Halibut (28).
We each finished with Orange Cheesecake Mousse (8).
When we got back to the room, we could see that the American Spirit was tied up across from our hotel.
Sunset will be at 2134.
