Life Matters will discontinue their care-giver day shift for the length of Bill's visit. After I complete Margaret's marketing, we're going out for lunch. We've picked (<<<)Drummer's Cafe (>>>)in the Atlantic Hotel in Berlin. Following afternoon naps, Margaret and Bill will join us for Tilapia Parmesan, Baked Tomatoes, Brussels Sprouts and Christmas Cookies.
At 0639, it’s 33o with rain in the forecast on this day of the Winter Solstice. I completed Margaret’s marketing and, after dropping off her groceries, brought Lyd home. We continued making WDW ADRs, in conjunction with Kate. We learned that ADR’s have a 180 day-out window and will have to be made one day at a time over the next few days. SK will take one of their nights in the room to allow (and underwrite) Dave and Vicky Martin going to the California Grill. Just after 1100, we picked up Margaret and Bill, and headed for the Atlantic Hotel in Berlin and Drummer’s Café, as Margaret’s guests. Bill enjoyed a pair of Berlin Cosmo (8@) of Sweet Tea Vodka paired with Orange Liqueur with a splash of lime and cranberry juice; served up. Lyd had a pair of Pinot Grigio (8@). Margaret and I each had a small bowl (5) of Turtle Soup, which was excellent. Bill had a raw oyster appetizer (12.50). I started with the Seared Tina appetizer (14) while everyone else had the fried oyster appetizer (12.50). Bill and Lyd finished with the Crab Cake Sandwich (14.50) while I had the Fish and Chips (13.50). We dropped them off at 1400 and went home for naps. We awoke to find an email from Sal suggesting Friday night out at The Brickhouse, in Ocean City, for drinks following dinner and the boys going to bed. Bill and Margaret joined us for a dinner of Tilapia Parmesan, and Brussels Sprouts.
