Lunch will be at our house and will feature the annual oyster roast, punctuated by Bloody Caesar's. Lyd will also serve shrimp cocktail and seafood chowder, primarily for Margaret and, in addition to the oysters, I plan to sear a piece of Ahi Tuna for Bill and me. This feast normally results in much-needed naps and dinner, most likely, will be pizza from Tim's Pizza, at our respective households. Sal, Kate, Dominic, and Leo (SKDL) will arrive in Salisbury before midnight, but not much before.
At 0620, it’s 48 with rain in the forecast tonight. Lyd went over for Margaret’s Routines and Rituals and reports that Margaret has the beginnings of a cold. Kate was informed by email, but says they are still coming tonight. Bill and Margaret arrived around 1100 for today’s Oyster Roast. Lyd started with Seafood Chowder and boiled shrimp while the oysters were roasting in the oven. Margaret was tired, so Lyd took her home and Bill and I consumed about half of the half bushel of Chincoteague Oysters and a few slices of seared tuna. Bill went back to Margaret’s house and Lyd returned home. It was foggy at 2320 when Sal, Kate, Dominic and Leo arrived from Pennsylvania.
