It's Christmas Eve in Salisbury.
Dominic is usually the first one out of bed and is down by 7.
When SKDL have joined the two of us, it will be bagels, waffles and fruit.
We plan deli sandwiches for lunch, and the boys will probably open a few gifts.
For dinner, Margaret and Bill will join us for our traditional Welsh Christmas Eve dinner of Lasagna.
At 0643, it’s 50 and foggy on Christmas Eve. Everybody was down by 0700 and waffles and bagels were consumed. At 0730, Lyd went over to Margaret’s and reports that Margaret doesn’t need medical attention, but can’t come over. At 0830, I called Life Matters to attempt to restart the day shift. The boys watched The Polar Express. At 0850, Meghan Brown called to report the day shift, piecemeal, would be restarted. The boys opened gifts while heavy rains came down. We had deli sandwiches for lunch and the boys played with their new toys and games. At 1600, Kate went over to Margaret’s to take her a new blanket. The quadro-copter arrived. Bill joined us at 1700 for a dinner of lasagna, salad, and Chocolate Peanut Butter pie. In the early evening, the boys watched The Nightmare Before Christmas before going up to bed at 1900. We then watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. | |||||||||
