Breakfast at Norma’s in Le Parker Meridien Hotel |
|
We left the hotel a little before 0800 headed for Norma’s in Le Parker Meridien Hotel.
We started with an amuse bouche of a mango smoothie (the only thing on the menu that’s not expensive).
We each had a glass of Orange Juice (9@); three had coffee and I had tea (7@).
Linda had Sweet Suzy of Crepes drenched in orange sauce (21).
Lydia had Norma’s Eggs Benedict of buttermilk pancakes layered with Canadian bacon and grilled asparagus (26).
Becky had Country-Style Buttermilk pancakes with juicy Georgia peaches and walnuts (24).
Brian had Traditional Eggs Benedict (25), while Jerry had Potato Pancakes of the James Beard award winning recipe with homemade cranberry apple sauce and sweet carrot payasam (24),
and I had the Light and Lemony Griddle Cakes with Devonshire cream (25).
It’s a very expensive breakfast, but quite decadent.
After breakfast, we split up.
