| I was up by 7 and went down to the lobby with Jerry and Linda to send Brian on his way to his Bar Prep class. At 1030, we took the subway to Bleecker Street and walked to Katz’s Delicatessen in Soho. We took the subway back from 2nd avenue in Soho, finished packing and returned in the lobby where a car was waiting to take the four of us to Penn Station. Amtrak 93 was about 10 minutes late in departing. Linda and I walked back to the bar car where we secured drinks. Without incident, we pulled into BWI train station and secured the car for the drive home. We stopped at Snapper’s in Cambridge for dinner and then drove the rest of the way home, dropping Jerry at Mallard Landing. |
