Background
At 0636, it’s 79. We left the room about 0815 and went down to the Contemporary bus zone. When the bus for Hollywood Studios arrived, it quickly filled to standing room only and then headed for Wilderness Lodge where we packed on more before heading for the studios. When we got inside the park, we headed for Star Tours. Sal wasn’t interested, so the rest of us were accosted by Darth Vader, visited the Wookie planet, Kashyyyk, were intercepted by Admiral Akbar and then were attacked by Boba Fett in the asteroid belt orbiting Geonosis. From Star Tours, we walked over to Pixar. Enroute, as we passed near the Great Movie Ride, Lisa, a cast member serving as a character escort intercepted me and asked if she was on the Naughty or Nice List. I didn’t think quickly enough to give her a Pixie Dust Card, but I did tell her I couldn’t imagine that a Disney World cast member could ever be on the naughty list. We continued to Toy Story Midway Mania. With a stand-by waiting time of 80 minutes, our fastpasses took us past a few hundred people to the waiting cars. Lyd beat my 89K score with a 98K. We took pictures of some green guys as we walked back to Star Tours for another ride. We were accosted by Darth Vader again, but then went to Tatooine and into a podrace. We were, again, intercepted by Admiral Akbar and then attacked by Boba Fett in the asteroid belt orbiting Geonosis. Kate often says Leo has two settings: eating or hungry. Therefore, they went in search of food and Lyd and I went to Muppet 3-D. From there, we walked over to the Hollywood Brown Derby, and our lunch. We then waddled back to the room for much needed naps, past the Frozen Parade. Sal and Kate left at 1830 for their night out at the California Grill and EPCOT, and we kept the boys, who watched “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.”
