When I got to the lobby of the convention center, Mickey and Minnie were already there posing for pictures. This is primarily for the teams, so I didn't get in line. We had a dinner of Caesar salad, Filet Mignon with veggies and potatoes, followed by strawberry cheesecake. As a part of her keynote speech, Florida's Commissioner of Education had all of the Readers stand while she talked about the difficulty of our role in the competitions. Mickey Mouse returned to assist on the presentation of trophies and medallions to the top 3 teams in each of the 3 divisions, followed by a slide show of the tournament activities which was enjoyed by the kids. I returned to my hotel room at 2130, passing the tired feet of our student assistants.
