| 0608 it's 75. We packed and Sheik Ali from Mears Transportation picked us up at 0800 for the uneventful trip to MCO. Check-in and baggage drop took longer than usual as there was a shortage of airline personnel. We found seats at gate 39, and Lew, Sal, and Leo went down to Wendy's to secure breakfast. We boarded at 1035, for an 1105 departure. Weather delayed the arrival of our first officer, so Leo and I visited the flight deck and chatted with the captain. Push back at 1125. Departed on 17R at 1140. Lew had red wine and I had a bourbon and ginger. We both selected the hummus plate for the preferred snack. We landed on 27R at 1339, said our goodbyes to SKDL and parted company; they for baggage claim and we toward the cattle yard in the F Terminal for our shuttle back to Salisbury. |
