SKDL will be here for Margaret's birthday weekend.
Bill flies in at 8 on Thursday evening and SKDL will arrive late the same evening.
Bill will spend as much time with his mother as she is awake.
Otherwise, he'll come over and be with the rest of us.
Saturday, we'll go out for lunch and Lew and Kate will go to Vernon Powell to shop for Kate's birthday.
SKDL will leave after an early dinner Sunday to return to Wyomissing and Bill will fly home on Monday.

Thursday, Aug 31
Bill’s flight was early, arriving at 1922. SKDL pulled in at 2245. At 2330, it’s 73.
Friday, Sep 1
Sal went running at 0615.
At 0654, it’s 66 and everybody is up.
Kate shared the Stanton 20th Reunion details and Lew and I cooked.
SKDL went to the park and then visited a friend in the SU Chemistry Department.
Later, Lew and SKDL went over and visited with Margaret and took her a cheesecake.
We had pork spareribs, Sister Cities Slaw and shoestring potatoes for dinner.
The boys watched a little of Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.
After they went to bed, Kate, Sal and I watched Wonder Woman on Amazon.
At 2230, it’s 64 and the forecast rain is passing to the south.

At 0638, it’s 64 and the forecast rain is now to the north of Salisbury.
The boys were down by 0710.
Lew went over and did Margaret’s R&R and learned that Bill will join us for lunch.
We all went to 1400 South Pavilion for lunch where Bill picked up most of the tab, except for Kate and Lew’s pizza.
As soon as that was finished, they headed for Vernon Powell for Kate’s birthday shopping.
1445: Jerry and Linda called.
We played poker.
Dinner was Linda’s Shrimp Creole with salad.
Alabama defeated FSU 24-7, but The Gators also lost.
At 2345, it’s 70 and the rain has finished.

At 0707, it’s 68.
Lew went over for Margaret’s R&R and Bill came back and joined us for lunch.
We checked out our unused Halloween decorations and the kids took a bunch home.
Lew, Kate and the boys went to the Halloween store for more stuff.
In the afternoon, Dominic and Leo watched Star Wars for the 1st time.
We had honey cashew chicken and leftovers for dinner.
SKDL left at 1900 for home.
At 2225, it's 68.

Monday, Sep 4
At 0713, it’s 63.
At 1045, I took Bill to the airport for his flights home, noting they have now installed a scanner at the security checkpoint.
I picked up double cheeseburgers at Burger King and we started re-assembling the house.
In the afternoon, we watched Hugo.
