At 0540, it’s 40 in Charleston, SC, and our flights are projecting on-time departures.
We finished packing and puttered about the room.
At 0800, we disembarked from the ship and boarded the van to the airport.
Once the luggage was sorted, we claimed ours and checked in with American Air Lines.
TSA Precheck didn't have a scanner, so I had to have a pat down.
Near gate B5, we found a pizza joint and had a pizza (14.42) and a pair of Long Island iced teas (12.18@) and then proceeded to B5 to wait for our flight.
Though the aircraft was over 20 minutes late in leaving PHL, they made up the time and were only 4 minutes late arriving in CHS.
With a quick turnaround, we were only 9 minutes late pushing back from the gate.
We landed in PHL at an arrival gate adjacent to our departure gate.
We were in the building less than 5 minutes.
The flight back to Salisbury was uneventful.
We picked up Buddy at the kennel and returned to the house, ending the vacation.
