December 24, 2017
Though it's the 24rd on the calendar, this will be Christmas Day for the family.
Bill is invited to join us for the Laws' Christmas Breakfast and the opening of gifts and later, to return to our house for a Roast Beef dinner.
At 0647, it’s 44 and everybody is healthy!
Lew finished R&R at 823 and Bill joined us a little after 9.
With 7 at the table, we celebrated the traditional Laws Breakfast.
We moved to the family room and played the video of Margaret telling the story in 2010.
The boys then opened their Christmas gifts and were thrilled with all their loot.
Bill went to 823 to spend time with his mom, Kate and Dominic went to the dining room table with a Lego Lincoln Memorial, and Sal and Leo read a book on the sofa.
Bill called to report Hospice is with Margaret; there is no congestion, but her breathing is labored at a rate of about 30.
Hyoscyamine was administered.
A phone call from the nurse affirmed that everything is OK.
Lew and Kate went over for a short visit.
Greg and Karen Grieser stopped by to drop off a batch of Karen’s “Christmas Crack.”
Dinner was a rib roast with mashed potatoes and Brussel’s sprouts.
At 2100, it was 46 and SK were watching Miss Perrigrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
