At 0446, it’s 72 and we’ve been up since 0430. We finished packing and were out in the garage when Willie arrived to take us to the train station in Lancaster. Train 600 arrived at 0713 and, by 0716, we were on our way to Philadelphia. We were a few minutes early, and Red Cap Charles took care of us and took us down to Track 4 to board Train 172, the Northeast Regional, in Car #1, seats 3A & 3C. We had Jimmy Dean Sausage Biscuits and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon for breakfast, and drinks around 1:30. We arrived in Providence around 1430, noting another passenger, Helen, from NYC had an ACL bag. At her request, the train changed tracks to take advantage of the only working elevator, so we treated her to an Uber ride to the hotel. At 1830, we went down to Fleming’s Steakhouse in the hotel, for dinner. At 2015, it’s 73 in Providence, RI.
