Tom selected Crab Barn for Thursday's lunch out, our first visit. Lyd started with glasses of the house Cabernet (6@) and I had iced tea (2.50), skipping raspberry iced tea (!). We chose to split a ˝ pound of steamed shrimp (9), prepared with Old Bay and served with cocktail sauce and melted butter. It was quite good. Lyd had a crab cake sandwich (16). Though it was Indonesian crab, Lyd found it to be very well prepared. It came with onion rings (4) and a house salad (3) with house dressing. As I always do with a new place, I tried the fish and chips (17), which came with Tartar sauce and malt vinegar, already on the table. We’ll be back, but took nothing home. | |||||||||||||||
