| Israel greeted us and assigned Rony to our table, who produced glasses of champagne. Lyd started with a martini (13), while Linda chose a vodka martini (12), Jerry had iced tea (4.29), and I had Makers Mark Manhattans (14). For the first course, I selected the Hamachi (21); Lyd picked Arancini (14); Linda and Jerry each had the house salad (15). For the main course, I picked the Cobia (42); Lyd and Linda the Beef (54), to which Lyd added a glass of 1150 (39) while Linda added a glass of Chardonnay (15) and Jerry, had the Rigatoni (34). Jerry turned down dessert, but I had the Flan (13), while Lyd and Linda each had a Nutty Irishman (14). As we were checking out, the fireworks began and ran during our return to the room. |
