Filomena, from Venezuela, was our server. Lyd started with glasses of Dairyman Pino Noir (18). Linda had margaritas; Jerry, water, and I had iced tea (4.29). Lyd and I picked starters. She had the Oyster and Brie Soup (14) with crispy oyster fritter, champagne and Meyer Lemon-Saffron Ailoi; and I had Tuna Carpaccio Nicoise (16) with Kalamata Olive Toast, Quail egg, and green peppercorn ailoi. For her entrée, Lyd picked the Shrimp and Scallops Newberg (46) in a sherry cream sauce, with Blue Crab Toast. Jerry picked the Brown Derby Signature Burger (24) with bacon jam, cheddar, Russian dressing and hand-cut fries (leaving off the fried egg), I had the Cobb Salad (20) with spit-roasted turkey, bacon, egg, tomatoes, blue cheese, avocado and classic dressing, Linda has the same, sans avocado and with the dressing on the side. |
