Tom has selected Masa for Thursday's lunch out.
Lyd started with glasses of Kendall Jackson Cabernet Sauvignon (10), while I had Iced tea (3).
Lyd moved on to three cooked Special Rolls: Tiger (13) [Inside: lobster salad, avocado, tempura flake, outside: special seaweed];
American Dream (16) [Rock shrimp tempura inside topped with spicy shrimp, kani, chopped lobster drizzled with spicy sweet Thai mayo sauce and sweet-sour chili sauce];
and Crazy Bumblebee (16) [Inside: lobster tempura, avocado, asparagus, outside: mango seaweed salad].
I chose Miso Soup (3) and 3 raw Special Rolls: Pyramid (14) [Spicy tuna, lobster salad and egg omelet with avocado layered with sushi rice and soy sheet, topped with eel sauce and honey sauce.];
Triple Double (15) [Inside: spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber. outside: blacken tuna, white tuna, soy paper and jalapeņo];
Angel (16) [Inside: blacken tuna, asparagus and avocado outside: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, eel with spicy mayo, wasabi mayo, eel sauce].
We brought half home for dinner!
