| At 0626, it’s 61 at Walt Disney World and we’re headed for the Animal Kingdom. My Disney Experience did not allow us to secure Lightning Lane passes for Flight of Passage. We boarded the bus at the Contemporary Bus zone at 0800. We went directly to Avatar and a cast member reported the computer problems were known and the current wait for Flight of Passage was 90 minutes. We didn’t want to do that and went, instead, out to the Kilimanjaro Safari where there was only a 20-minute wait. We enjoyed that and then went back for the 1000 Festival of the Lion King. Vicki reported their presence in the park and similar problems with Flight of Passage, so we met at the Africa bridge and returned to the Safari where the wait was now 65 minutes. We finished that ride and headed for our 1235 dining reservation at Tiffins. Following lunch, we returned to the room for naps. At 1830, Alexix, our Uber driver, drove us to Coronado Springs Resort. A text, enroute, from Vicky, told us they were in the 16th floor lounge. We joined them for drinks and then went in to dinner at Toledo. Back downstairs, it was only minutes before Jose, our Uber driver, took us back to BLT and bed! |
