Carrie was our server. At my questioning, she told us they had discontinued the roasted garlic with the bread course, much to my disappointment. Well, she was teasing and produced an ample supply, earning her a spot on our Pixie Dust List. Lyd started with a glass of Cabernet (13). With no Maker’s Mark, I had a Woodford Manhattan (18). We each had the Lobster Bisque (16) with crème fraiche and Espelette oil. We split a 16-oz Ribeye (59) with Blue Cheese Butter and a side of Potato-Leek Gratin and added Roasted Seasonal Mushrooms (10) for the table. For dessert, Lyd chose Strawberry Shortcake (13) and I selected the Crème Brulee (11.50). |
