Tom selected Masa for Friday's lunch out. and Kate joined us. Rio was our server. Lyd started with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon (10) and I had iced tea (3). Kate had Seaweed Salad (7), New Broadcasting Roll (9) [Shrimp, salmon, cucumber, avocado, tempura flakes with flying fish roe on top] and Salmon Avocado Roll (7). Lyd had a green salad (5), a Pink Lady Roll (14) [Inside: shrimp, spicy crabmeat, mango, flying fish roe, tempura flakes, outside: pink soy bean sheet] and Volcano Roll (15) [Hot-out-of the oven, crab avocado and cream cheese rolled up and topped with a mild spicy scallop salad]. I had Seaweed Salad (7), an Exotic Roll (16) [Peppered tuna and avocado with spicy tuna, wasabi mayo and tempura crunchy outside], Hotlie Roll (15) [Shrimp tempura, avocado, soy paper topped with jalapeño, spicy tuna and accent with chili sauce and chili pepper] and Honey Bunny Roll (18) [Shrimp tempura, spicy crab, avocado, salmon and tuna in heart shape, sprinkled with spicy mayo and honey sauce]. For her family, Kate took home more food.
