At 0530, we were up and ready for the day.
At 0630, it’s 66.
At 1030 Wilfred picked us up and we headed for PHL.
By noon, we were already through TSA.
We went to Germantown Biergarten near B10.
Lyd had a Crispy Chicken hoagie (16.99) with a hot poblano, and a 9oz glass of Merlot (27),
and I had an Italian Sausage Hoagie (16.99) with a 9 oz glass of Selbach Riesling (21).
We went on down to B14, and boarded, on schedule.
We had seats 2E & 2F on the B737.
We took off on 27L at 1400, and 50 minutes later, landed at Boston’s Logan Airport.
We secured an Uber ride, with Alexander (50.61) to Four Seasons Hotel Boston, across from Boston Garden, and checked into Room 408.
We had 1830 reservations, downstairs, at Adjourd Hui, where we had a table overlooking Boston Garden.
Lyd stared with a Hendricks Martini (21) and I had the first of 2 Maker’s Mark Manhattans (21).
We enjoyed a small bowl of olives and nuts.
Lyd chose an excellent Asparagus Soup (18) while I sampled their equally good Clam Chowder (15).
For her entrée, Lyd picked Grilled Main Salmon (36) and sampled several red wines supplied by the sommelier, before picking a merlot, none of which made it to the bill.
I selected Dover Sole (65) with new potatoes and green beans, which was excellent, but just too much.
We returned to the room, and at 2044, we were in bed.
