The Plan:
We're in Bath all day on Sunday.
We've scheduled an exploration, from 0930 to 1030, of the Maine Maritime Museum.
At 1730, we're back to sea, headed, over night, for Gloucester, MA
|
At 0630, it’s 72o in Bath, ME.
We had snacks on the fourth floor and I then went down for a breakfast of bacon, corned beef hash and rye toast.
At 0930, we walked the short distance to the Maritime Museum and bought a scarf.
For lunch, Lyd enjoyed a BLT and I had a bison burger.
We had naps and then I went to the American Experience, which is basically a sales presentation for ACL encouraging passengers to sign up for another trip, which we have already done.
Despite numerous attempts, internet connectivity here, in Bath, is terrible and I’m unable to upload anything.
We sailed from Bath at 1730, with the captain warning of some 3-4’ seas on our trek south to Gloucester.
Lyd had Salmon and I had leg of lamb, both preceded by New England Clam Chowder, and, for me, followed by Limoncello Cake.
The projected rough seas turned out to be a gentle roll, like a hammock.
Off the coast of Portland, ME, the internet returned.
At 2130, it’s 71o.
