| An Uber took us to the Animal Kingdom Lodge where Lyd renewed her friendship with Lo, the bartender at Jiko with a Hendrick’s Martini (16) for Lyd and a Tito’s and Tonic (14) for me. We were seated at the Cooking Place as the Wine Room was closed. Lyd’s dinner consisted of 2 starters, the Duck Flatbread (17) and the Mussels (19). I selected the Beef Short Ribs (52) and added a bottle of the Groot Pinotage (59). Bryon, the proprietor visited. |
