Lyd picked Austin's for Tuesday's lunch out. She started with glasses of a California Cabernet (9.80) and I enjoyed their seasonal Cider House Rules (10.20) of Spiked and spiced Angry Orchard with clove, cinnamon stick and orange. Lyd selected a Shrimp Cocktail (15.50) and I repeated the Ahi Tuna App (16.50). For her entrée, Lyd picked the Filet Bordeaux (24.50) of 2 three-ounce filet mignon medallions, grilled medium rare, over garlic mashed potatoes and topped with a mushroom Bordeaux sauce. I’m not big on risotto, so I chose the special of Barramundi (24.60), substituting Austin’s excellent fries, with sides of baked beans and scalloped apples (3). |
