Lyd had never seen the Grand Canyon, so we booked "Southwest Splendors," an "Adventure by Disney."

At 0554 MDT, it’s 63 in Moab, 59 in Grand Junction and 84 in Phoenix, today’s destination. The bags were picked up at 0700. At 0815, we left Moab and pulled into the Grand Junction Regional Airport at 1000. We went quickly through security and settled into the departure area by 1030. The flight left on time and arrived in Phoenix on time. We said our goodbyes to our fellow travelers and found the shuttle to the Marriott Courtyard. The room was nice. We went down to find lunch and had two horrid sandwiches. The Sewer Scum hosted the Crimson Tide in an 8:00 game, Eastern time, so we got to watch it at 5, Phoenix time. We went back down to the hotel lobby and had a couple of burgers and a couple of drinks and watched the game in the lounge. With an early morning call, we both went to bed at the end of the 3rd quarter.
