Margaret is returning us to Bon Appettit for lunch. Our reservation is for noon and we've asked for the table by the window. Margaret and Lyd each had Riesling. Margaret had Split Pea Soup (4). I started with Potato, sausage and leek soup (4) and Lyd had French Onion Soup (5.95). Margaret enjoyed the shrimp scampi (15.95), while Lyd opted for Eggs Benedict (9.95). I had the Ahi Tuna salad. The chef grilled the slab of tuna about 8 seconds per side, perfectly. Margaret finished with pears poached in red wine and cinnamon with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream (5.95).
