At 0545, it’s already warm and humid as we are headed back up the Chesapeake towards Crisfield.
Tangier Island was passed, on the portside, and we docked, in Crisfield at 1115.
We weren’t interested in either the boat ride to Tangier Island, or the walking tour of Crisfield, so we stayed on board.
We paid the deposit for the cruise on the Mississippi, next summer.
Rain threatened and the captain adjusted the lines.
The ramp became wet and slippery and Tyson fell, dislocating his shoulder.
A young lady did a presentation on Smith Island cakes.
We took naps and then went down for cocktails.
A local was shucking raw oysters, but we didn’t go there.
For dinner, we both had French Onion Soup for our first course, followed by the
Lamb and concluded with Crème Brule.
There’s a strong breeze from the west pushing us away from the dock and the Captain is being cautious.
We’re scheduled to leave Crisfield at 0500, but it’s going to be a long night for the crew.
