With lots more steps in the offing, I opted to sit at an outdoor café where I had a Grilled ham and cheese (€8.80) and two bottles of Schweppes Indian Tonic (€5.80@).
There was a lot of police presence and we learned that demonstrations against gay marriage were close by.
After the rest of the group finished the stair climb of the cathedral, we boarded a coach back to our hotel, where I secured tomorrow’s boarding passes.
