With a goal of enjoying the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival and the Christmas Holiday decorations, we made our first trip to Walt Disney World in November. We were at Bay Lake Tower (BLT) at the Contemporary Hotel.

At 0641, it’s 59 and overcast. Although the forecast is for a 60% likelihood of rain, radar suggests that the bulk of the showers have already moved past to the southeast. We left the room at 0900 and took a bus to Hollywood Studios. With a FastPass, we walked right in to Toy Story Midway Mania, bypassing a line that was at least 45 minutes long. My score was around 65,000 and Lyd’s about 52,000. From there we walked in to The Great Movie Ride. Our guide was Stephanie. In the Old West, she asked when was the only time John Wayne and Clint Eastwood appeared together. I answered it was in this attraction and she “said” I was the first person to get that right. We walked over to Star Tours, and even though we had FastPasses, we had to wait almost 5 whole minutes. We then walked over to Muppet 3-D and walked right in. At the exit to Muppets is Mama Melrose’s. From there, we walked over and used our Fastpasses at the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, always a great show. Back to the room for R&R with no rain. At 1800, we walked down to the dock to catch the launch south to Wilderness Lodge and Artist Point. After dinner, we took the launch back to the Contemporary Hotel dock, by way of Fort Wilderness.
